Dunlop have launched a new TV magazine that will feature all the very latest news in motorsport. Inside Racing offers fascinating insights from a range of motorsports race series including in-depth information, exclusive material plus celebrity and lifestyle features.

Unlike other racing programs Inside Racing benefits from the Dunlop name in motorsport, which means the show’s producers have an incredible amount of access to the world’s fastest tracks as well as exclusive interviews with the most skillful drivers on the planet. Viewers can expect to see teams and drivers of race series such as DTM, ALMS and MotoGP.

The show is produced fortnightly and also encourages viewer participation, which can be seen on the program’s YouTube presence: http://www.youtube.com/dunlopinsideracing. Also, for more fans of more extreme motoring, the Dunlop Challenges channel features stunt driving such as Loop the Loop, J-turns and jumps: http://www.youtube.com/DunlopChallenges.

One of the latest pieces of footage incredibly demonstrates the manoeuvrability of 3 cars when kitted out with the SP Street Response tyres. In the video, the stunt coordinator even reveals they had to slightly over-inflate the tyres as the grip was too good to perform the skids required for the stunt!

With plenty of insight into competition racing as well as stunts and other features, Inside Racing looks to be a great source for petrolheads and motorsports fans alike.

Vehicles these days are not lasting nearly as long as they used to, so here are a few tips to help you lengthen your cars life by creating better habits.

First, use the best fuel you can find. Cheap or bad fuel will clog up the workings inside you car, and create more problems in the long run. Cleaner burning gas is available from several stations, including BP, which will help your cars performance, and keep it running clean. You will use less gas in the long run.

Next is be sure to clean your air filters often, as they allow oxygen into the engine, and filter out the dirt and dust. Also use a synthetic motor oil, which will make your car last longer and perform better. It will help eliminate corrosive acids and soot and other deposits from affecting the engine.

Being sure you are purchasing. and keeping up on replacing, your cars tires is also important. Air pressure and tire tread monthly, which will keep your car performing consistently and keep you from getting any unwanted flats.

By exercising better habits when caring for your car, you can add years to it’s life, and be sure it keeps performing its best for years to come. Here are some tips to keep better car of your car.

Keep your break pads clean, as it will result in quicker stops and prevent unnecessary wear and tear on the car. If they wear down too much, it can become a domino effect and cause damage to other parts of the car. Keep up with your car’s fluids as well, there are many that need refilling and checking such as the transmission fluid, coolant, radiator and power steering fluid. Some you can do yourself, others need a mechanic.

Car batteries usually last between three to five years, so be sure to check up on it’s performance over this time, be sure there is no leaks, and replace it when it is time to.

Wiper blades don’t seem that important, but they can scratch or damage the glass and workings of your car if they are not properly replaced and looked after. Also be sure to get regular tune ups, to be sure that everything is doing fine before any major problems result from things that have been overlooked.
